Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox won a scholarship award to attend London's Royal Academy of Music for three years. Lennox survived off a student's stipend, and worked part-time to help supplement her income. Lennox made the decision to alter her path in life after she became dissatisfied by her lack of skill in the same way as other Royal Academy students. Lennox was a flute player in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. But she quit before her band was invited to compete on I.T.V.'s talent show New Faces. From 1977 to 1980 she was lead vocalist for The Tourists, a British Pop band. In this band, she made friends with Dave Stewart and together they created The duo Eurythmics. Lennox worked on her solo first album Diva. It was released in 1993. The album was hugely successful both critically and commercially. Nostalgia Lennoxs sixth solo album debuted in October 2014. This C.D. Lennox compiled her top blues and soul from early childhood. Lepidoptera includes four keyboard improvised tracks. The E.P. The E.P. is her debut independent album and a companion to the art installation she made at Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art entitled Now I Let you go... Annie Lennox (born December 25 1955) is a Scottish politician and singer. The Tourists had a minor hit in late 1970s. Lennox as well as Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, proceeded to gain international recognition in the 1980s as the Eurythmics. Lennox started her solo career in 1992, with the release of Diva with a number of successful tracks like Why and Walking on Broken Glass. Medusa is her studio album from 1995. The album features covers of such songs as The No MoreI I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale. Six solo studio albums and one compilation album are the result of her efforts.
